Since opening in 2018, the National Comedy Center has attracted visitors from all 50 states and around the world who have come to Jamestown, NY to experience our museum dedicated to telling the story of comedy. The National Comedy Center has been featured on NBC’s TODAY Show, CBS Sunday Morning and in The New York Times, and has been chosen to be the permanent home for archival collections from artists like Johnny Carson, Carl Reiner, Lucille Ball, George Carlin, Betty White and many more — all of whom now have their work and legacies preserved within the nation’s official cultural institution dedicated to the art form of comedy.
